Stop by the W. H. Stark House Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to view the beautiful holiday decorations now through Wednesday, January 2, 2008. The Dining Room table will be set for Christmas dinner, and the Breakfast Room table will be set for Christmas morning breakfast. The Carriage House will be decorated with a tree that displays ornaments made in 1982 by the Stark House guiding staff out of vintage lace, silk flowers, ribbons, and beads that were found in a sewing box in the Stark House. Additional holiday decorations will also be on display in the Carriage House.
The W. H. Stark House is located at 610 Main Avenue in Orange, Texas. To schedule a full tour of the house, call 409.883.0871. Admission for a full tour is $5 and $2 for seniors age 65 and over and children age 10 and over. Admission is limited to children age 10 and over. Stairs are an essential part of the tour.
