Help Orange grow with this February 9 tree-planting program sponsored by Shangri La.
Re-Shade Orange was launched after Hurricane Rita wiped out many of the Orange area’s most prominent trees. Together with the Nelda C. and H. J. Lutcher Stark Foundation, Shangri La aims to bring shade back to Orange by helping the community replant the thousands of trees that were lost. After attending a brief lesson in tree planting, participants receive a free tree of their own to take home and plant.
