The W. H. Stark House sets the table for Thanksgiving dinner with Stark family china, crystal, and silver. Guests will notice Bavarian service plates (circa 1920), Indian Tree china by Coalport (circa 1850), Hawkes Stemware with the “WHS” monogram, Virginiana flatware by the Gorham Manufacturing Company (circa 1904), and Sterling Hollowware. The white damask tablecloth and six matching napkins are monogrammed with “MSM,” and the table arrangement features a mahogany centerpiece bowl with a floral arrangement of autumnal foliage, day lilies, roses, chrysanthemums and magnolia leaves.
Stop by the W. H. Stark House, located at 610 Main Avenue in Orange, Texas, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. to view the beautiful decorations at no admission charge now through Saturday, November 24, 2007. To schedule a full tour of the house, call 409.883.0871. Admission for a full tour is $5 and $2 for seniors age 65 and over and children age 10 and over.
